The Brooke’s legacy infrastructure was no longer fit for purpose. Their VMware-based systems were ageing, lacked redundancy, and presented increasing security risks. As stewards of sensitive donor, beneficiary, and operational data, The Brooke required a platform that could ensure compliance with evolving data protection standards while enhancing the availability and resilience of their services.

Partner Solution

Dudobi worked with The Brooke to design and implement a secure, cloud-native architecture on AWS. The environment was tailored to support both production and development workloads using segregated EC2 instances, while centralised backup, monitoring, and access controls were introduced to ensure operational consistency.

Security was prioritised throughout the design. Encryption, audit logging, identity management, and governance controls were embedded to support regulatory compliance and mitigate risk. Access from the organisation’s head office was tightly restricted and managed through secure bastion access with defined permissions.
