From Overwhelmed to Optimised

FSPHub | An AWS Case Study

INDUSTRY
Financial Services / Fintech
CHALLENGE
FSPHub's self-provisioned AWS environment was costing 30% more year-on-year, with no optimisation strategy, compliance gaps, and insufficient monitoring for a regulated financial services platform.

RESULTS
Dudobi's managed services delivered a 30% reduction in AWS spend, up to 40% better compute price-performance via Graviton migration, and a fully governed, compliant platform -- without FSPHub needing to build internal AWS expertise.

FSPHub operates a comprehensive financial services platform serving institutions where downtime isn't just costly; it can impact market operations and client trust. Operating in one of the most heavily regulated sectors in the world, FSPHub needs infrastructure that doesn't just perform, but demonstrably meets stringent compliance requirements while keeping operational costs under control.

"We no longer lose sleep over our AWS infrastructure. With Dudobi as our trusted AWS partner, we have the peace of mind to focus on what we do best:  running our business."

— Sean | CEO, FSPHub

The Challenge

FSPHub's AWS environment had been set up by their development team: functional, but never optimised. AWS spend was climbing 30% year-on-year with no corresponding improvement in platform performance. Architecture inefficiencies were creating hidden costs and bottlenecks, monitoring gaps were leaving the team reactive rather than proactive, and the compliance burden of operating in financial services was stretching a team that hadn't been built to carry it. As Sean, FSPHub's lead, describes it: "We were drowning in a sea of options. Our developer was out of their depth, and we knew we needed a lifeline."

The Solution

Dudobi took over management of FSPHub's AWS environment and immediately set about closing the gaps. A migration of compute workloads to AWS Graviton processors delivered up to 40% better price-performance straight away, contributing to an overall 30% reduction in monthly spend. Monitoring was rebuilt around CloudWatch with custom dashboards, giving the team real visibility for the first time. Application Load Balancing and ElastiCache Redis resolved the performance bottlenecks that had been quietly degrading the platform. AWS Config and Security Hub were implemented to provide continuous compliance monitoring against financial services standards, and ITIL-compliant service management replaced the ad hoc approach to incident resolution. Throughout, Dudobi translated every decision into plain terms.

"They didn't just throw technical jargon at us," Sean notes. "They presented a roadmap that included clear options, implications, and recommendations that made sense for our business."

The Results

FSPHub's AWS environment is now a competitive asset rather than a source of anxiety. Monthly costs are down 30%, compute performance is up significantly following the Graviton migration, and the platform operates under continuous security and compliance monitoring, with no internal AWS expertise required to sustain it. As requirements have grown and infrastructure decisions have become more complex, Dudobi has consistently balanced performance with cost discipline. "They skilfully balanced our performance needs with cost-saving opportunities," Sean says,  confirming that "partnering with them was the right decision." FSPHub can now scale with confidence, knowing that every compliance requirement, security standard, and cost consideration is being actively managed on their behalf.
